IN THE BOOK OF HEBREWS
Join us on Wednesday mornings or participate through a Zoom meeting option on Thursday afternoons. We also offer a Spanish-speaking discipleship group, meeting Tuesday evenings, with Bible Study materials available in Spanish.
The Word of God changes us! Our study of God’s Word works in us to conform us to the image of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! Hebrews will chase down our hearts, destroy idols and convince us that Jesus is better!
Hebrews 4:12 For the word of God is living and active and sharper than any two-edged sword, and piercing as far as the division of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and able to judge the thoughts and intentions of the heart.
Meeting together to study the Word, sharing what we have learned and encouraging one another, in addition to church attendance, is another way we obey the command found in:
Hebrews 10:24–25 24 and let us consider how to stimulate one another to love and good deeds, 25 not forsaking our own assembling together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another; and all the more as you see the day drawing near.
Hebrews will teach us to heed His Word and to draw near to Him in intimate fellowship. As we do, we will re-discover that “first love” which we experienced at the time of our salvation. Join us as we draw near to Christ:

Hebrews has been referred to as the fifth gospel because it tells of Jesus’ finished work on earth and His continuing work in heaven. There is no other book in the New Testament that helps us to understand the present ministry of Christ, as does the book of Hebrews.
Hebrews will provide encouragement in your walk of faith and give you a greater appreciation of Christ’s supremacy and sufficiency. The insights in Hebrews, applied to your life, will strengthen your resolve to grow and mature in Christ. Each week we will meet together in a large group to discuss the week’s lesson and then break into smaller discipleship groups. Our desire is not only to acquire knowledge but also for changed lives as we share life upon life in our effort to become more like Christ, by applying the truths we are learning.

COST: Choose between two levels of workbooks.
Precept Upon Precept workbooks – this is an in-depth study with approximately five hours of homework per week.
English – $60 for materials
Spanish – $48 for materials
In & Out workbooks (only available in English) are a streamlined version with fewer weekly assignments, about two hours of homework per week. $48 for materials. All materials follow the same study plan.
ZOOM Meeting:
Thursdays at 2:00pm
Our Zoom meeting is an option for those who have special health concerns, moms with young children, and work schedules that don’t allow for a morning study.
SPANISH meeting: Tuesday evenings.
