MOW aims to equip men to act like men because lives depend on it. We do this by studying and applying God’s word through a curriculum designed to help men learn to study the Bible as they study the Bible together with other men.

OUR HEART
Our desire is simple: to equip and empower men to love God with all their being and to love those He has placed in their spheres of influence. To faithfully fulfill this calling, men of the Word must lead and shepherd their hearts and those in their care in a biblically masculine way.
With today’s culture aggressively working to redefine manhood, we need men. And not just any kind of men. We need godward men.
The godward man is a man whose life is oriented toward God and conformed to Christ. Men entranced by the glory of God, are beholding and becoming like Christ, are as conscious of Him on Monday as they are on Sunday, and are seeking to bring everything in their life under His lordship by striving to live a diligent, faithful, and fruitful life.
THE FRAMEWORK
The Godward Man curriculum will follow a three-year process. Year one will focus on the fundamentals of godward manhood and leadership. Year two will be the godward call to faithfully worship and present your life as a living sacrifice. Year three will be a charge to the godward man to fulfill the ministry God has given him because life is ministry.
Our goal with this format is that you learn how to study the Bible as you study what it means to be a godly man and leader.
Each week will uncover a sub-topic under each year’s theme. Also, to be less academic and more devotional (because that’s what godward men are), we have included prayer prompts to prepare your heart to depend on the Holy Spirit as you dive into God’s word. In order to ensure that this process is transformative, we have also included life application questions and space each week for you to make a simple resolution to which your discipleship group will hold you accountable.
Men, we pray that you will not only be in Christ but that you become more like Him. And even more than that, that you excel still more, for you were born for such a time as this. You have no other choice but to be a godward man. To lead and love in truth in this generation. Why? Because lives depend on it.
