Sonja and her husband Dave were married in 2001 and moved from Rancho Santa Margarita to Menifee in 2006, after the birth of their second son. They have two boys, Reece (18) and Landon (16).

Sonja is the former Director of Events for a fundraising ministry of CRU, where she had the opportunity to raise money so that more people could hear the Gospel and of Christ’s love for them. They have attended FBC for 7 years and continue to serve with the High School Ministry summer and winter camps, organizing food and doing whatever is needed.

Sonja loves to bake and has served on the Hospitality/Food ministry for 4 years. She enjoys spending time with her family – going to the beach, sporting events, enjoying a good meal, travel, and time with friends.
