Rob was born and raised in San Diego. He grew up Catholic, and came to know and understand the Gospel through the ministry of Young Life. While in college, he served in Young Life, and pursued a career in education. Rob has been a public educator since 1989, and is a middle school principal in Temecula, California. Since Christ transformed his heart, Rob has served in various ministries throughout his walk with Jesus, including: Men’s Ministry, Home Fellowship leader, Jail Ministry, Short-term Missions to Uganda, and he is currently the Children’s Ministry pastor. He is passionate about teaching God’s Word, sharing the Gospel and discipling men. Rob, and his wife, Heidi, have been married since 1989. They have one daughter, Julianne, and a son and daughter-in-law, Nick and Kelly. All their kids love Jesus and are involved in ministry at FBC; they are his favorite people to spend time with. In his free time, Rob enjoys working out at the gym and playing racquetball.
