Fruitful Hands Workshops

The Proverbs 31 woman is known for being hardworking and productive with her God-given gifts and abilities. Join us at the next women’s event, Fruitful Hands Workshops, to learn new ways to serve and glorify the Lord with your own unique skills—and maybe even discover a new hobby or two that can be used to the same end!

You will enjoy two workshops, a devotion shared by Sharon Verougstraete, a special crepe lunch, and more! This is another wonderful way to reach out to unsaved friends and family members, so be sure to invite a guest to join you, as you both enjoy a profitable day of fellowship—and your guest’s registration, including lunch, will be free! Don’t miss this awesome opportunity to discover new ways to be fruitful in this life we’ve been given!

Cost: General Registration, including lunch, is $10.
Additional materials fees for workshops will be applied. The cost for each workshop is listed in the descriptions below.

Each person will choose two workshops to attend:

Floral Arranging—Making a Wreath, taught by Rosy Avila  ($15)

Get hands on experience with floral arranging as you learn how to make a simple wreath display of soft colors and fun textures to last all year long!

Studying the Bible, taught by  Patti Eriksen ($5)

Learn a method of inductive Bible study that will help grow your personal time in God’s Word. The focus will be on how to understand what you are reading and then apply the principles you uncover during your study time.

Meal Planning, taught by Betsy Baird ($5)

Learn how to meal plan, shop, stretch meals and get food on the table each day for your family. You’ll also learn some tips for make ahead/freezer meals for days that are especially busy!

Caring for House Plants, taught by Shelby Hazell and Tawney Martinez ($10)

Join house plant enthusiasts Tawney and Shelby for a thorough lesson on house plant care and tips for keeping house plants happy and healthy. Enjoy the hands on experience of potting a 6” plant to welcome into your own home.

Cupcake Decorating, taught by  Holle Martinez ($8)

Professional baker Holle will teach you the delectable art of decorating beautiful cupcakes that make a statement using easy-to-follow techniques.

Sewing—Making a Pillow, taught by Leah Carson ($10)

Have you always wanted to learn to sew? This workshop will teach basic sewing skills while making a decorative pillow that will brighten your home!

Practicing Hospitality, taught by Lauren Dietrich ($5) 

Learn what God’s Word has to say about hospitality and some practical ways to show it. You’ll craft some fun invitations to get you started!

Wood-crafting a Wooden Lantern, taught by Kimberly Urquiza ($16)

Create a beautifully simple wooden lantern that makes a statement. Finish the wood as you like to match your décor – stained or natural.
