Mark and Kari met at the beginning of their freshman year at the Master’s University. Mark pitched for the Mustang baseball team and graduated with a degree in Business Administration. He was offered a job selling medical devices in 2006, which brought them to Murrieta and to FBC. After many years of serving in student ministries, they transitioned into adult ministries where they have remained serving until now.  Starting first as assistant leaders, and then taking the helm of a community group. 

Mark is a capable leader and discipler, raising up men and helping to establish new community groups at FBC. Currently, he leads the Rooted (CG), which meets every Thursday night and is geared to come alongside young families.
