David has been attending Faith Bible Church since 2004 and has been involved in a variety of different ministries since coming to Faith Bible Church. David was born and raised in Escondido, California. In 2001 David moved to Hemet moving him closer to Menifee where he would meet his wife Rosy and hear the gospel for the first time. In 2002 the Lord radically transformed David’s life through the gospel which was shared to him by a faithful Christian man whom he played basketball with. After getting saved David jumped straight into a discipleship relationship with the gentlemen who led the bible study he attended. The Lord used that time in David’s life to grow him not just in the knowledge of the word and deeper love for the Lord but started instilling in him a passion for discipleship. Since starting to attend Faith Bible Church, discipleship is what has driven David to be involved in ministry. He loves teaching people about Jesus and helping them grow in their faith through the study of the word. With his love for discipleship, David also started growing a strong desire to shepherd God’s people at Faith Bible Church leading him to pursue eldership. David has been married to his wife Rosy since 2005 and they’ve been serving at Faith Bible Church together since 2004. They have three children, Calvin, Matthew and Selah. As a family they enjoy being with church family, vacations in Hawaii, playing card games/board games, movie nights as a family, sports and hanging out with their very large extended family.
