In this series, the heritage and credentials of our King are established, and the reasons for this most essential sermon are made super clear. Christ’s transforming gospel changes a person from the inside out. But the current religion of the day was mere human effort seeking to change superficial external behavior, not heart transformation. THIS SUNDAY, in Matthew 7:24–27, Christ will remind us of The Rock of Assurance we all need. Christ will teach us the only way to survive the storms of life and the final storm of judgement is to build our lives upon the solid ROCK of Christ as our only foundation. May we all be able to sing and proclaim together: “On Christ, the solid rock, I stand!” Come this Sunday and be filled with the hope of Christ!
