Jim grew up near the beach in southern California. Growing up in a Bible teaching church started him on the path of serving in the church. It was at his home church that he met Ann, his wife of almost 40 years. He graduated from Biola University and Talbot Theological Seminary. After several years in pastoral ministry, he made a career change into public education but remained actively involved in church work in southwest Riverside County.

After nearly 25 years, Jim retired from teaching this past year and is now excited to become even more involved in ministry once again. He has been active at Faith Bible Church in discipleship groups, equipping classes and his Community Group. He is now putting his energies into FOCUS, our ministry to the senior citizens of FBC.
