David and his wife Zulma reconnected 25 years after high school and were married in 2013. They have a combined family of four boys and one girl creating a modern-day Brady Bunch, minus Alice. As a family, they enjoy spending time snow skiing, shooting, and camping. They are also Greenbay Packer and San Diego Charger fans; well, David is a Charger fan.

David started attending FBC in the summer of 2012 and immediately felt connected and saturated with love from his FBC family. It didn’t take long for God to put a desire to serve on David’s heart, so alongside Chris Bauer, he assists in the Sunday morning set-up crew ministry. David and his wife also lead in baptism set-up. He serves in various other ministries such as greeting and powerpoint. David has the heart to serve, seeks opportunities to put Christ on display in serving those around him, and is grateful for that desire that God has put on his heart. He is always reminded of the greatest servant, Christ. Mark 10:45 says, “For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.”
